The Edmonton Oilers dropped Game 1 of their second-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights by a score of 6-4. Below are the highlights from the game…

GAME HIGHLIGHTS ARE PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Things were looking good for the Oilers early on as Leon Draisaitl scored four minutes into the first period to give Edmonton a 1-0 lead…
The lead didn’t last long as Oilers defenceman Vincent Desharnais turned the puck over deep in his own zone and Ivan Barbashev capitalized to tie the game at 1-1…
The Golden Knights grabbed their first lead of the game later in the first period as William Karlsson fed Michael Amadio and he roofed a shot over Stuart Skinner…
Vegas extended their lead to 3-1 late in the first period while Brett Kulak was in the penalty box for interference…
With just a few seconds left in the first period, Leon Draisaitl cut Vegas’ lead to just one goal with his second of the game, as he bounced a puck off of Laurent Brossoit’s helmet from behind the net…
In the third period, while the Oilers were on the power play, Draisaitl completed his hat trick and tied the game at 3-3…
Again Vegas was able to answer back quickly. Zach Whitecloud threw a shot on goal from the point and Ivan Barbashev tipped it past Stuart Skinner to make the score 4-3…
Just one minute later, the Golden Knights extended their lead to 5-3. The Oilers made a poor breakout pass, Vegas came back quickly in transition, and Mark Stone fed Chandler Stephenson for a one-timer that he would blast past Skinner…
It was Leon Draisaitl again who dragged the Oilers back into the game, as his fourth goal made the score 5-4…
With just over one minute left in the third period, the Oilers were called for a too-many-men penalty…
The Golden Knights sealed the deal as Jack Eichel fired a puck from his own zone into Edmonton’s empty net…
