What is this article about? How about the greatest clothing line in the history of the world. Not only is OilersNation.com a site that you read on the regular it is also a clothing line that is sure to sexify your life.

One of the greatest things about OilersNation is the community we’re building here. Not only have we all suffered through nine miserable playoffless years and still remained fans, we’ve done it all together. Nation citizens are not only loyal, but are also incredible knowledgeable and passionate. It’s a fine group, and maybe the last of a dying breed. For the most part we citizens see things the same way (Petry arguments aside), and the next logical step is for us all to dress alike. Imagine a world of hundreds of thousands of citizens marching forward as one – it’s a beautiful thought.

Video games look way cooler now than they did back in the early 90s. Regardless, that’s not what I’m here to talk about. I’m here to talk about the 16-Bit Heroes pre-sale that is happening right now. Imagine that sexiness times four. That’s right… We have four of these designs on pre-sale right now. That’s four new ways for you to look like the fashion icon that we all know you are. The ladies (and fellas for that matter) won’t know how to handles themselves when they see you rocking these 16-Bit threads! Single af? Not for long. Married for twenty years? You’ll be more desirable than when you first met. The possibilities are endless! 

It’s worth noting that the pre-sale on these shirts ends on Wednesday. Why is that important? These shirts are currently on sale for $25 (that includes free shipping north of the 49th) which is a discounted price. So if you’re looking to score a shirt (or four) on the cheap now is the time to do it. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you.

You wanted hats. You’ll get your hats. As you may have seen on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook we’ve been blasting out pictures of these slick lids from all over the country (okay so it was only Alberta and BC) to try and pump you guys up. Why? Because you need one. Why do you need one? Because nobody likes getting sun stroke. You don’t want to get sun stroke do you? No, I didn’t think so.

Anyway…

I know we’ve been teasing you with these pictures and it’s not fair. I agree. Not only have we been teasing you, but we haven’t even given you any hints on when these babies are dropping. Luckily the wait is almost over. I’m happy to announce that Nation Hats will officially go on sale this coming week, and you too will be able to make those around you jealous. “Where’d you get that hat” they’ll say. “Should we fly away together because you’re so handsome?” The possibilities are endless.

What day will the hats drop? I don’t know, man. Get off my back! (It’s totally Thursday. Hats will be dropping on THURSDAY) Judging from the response I’m thinking that these things are going to sell out in a hurry so keep your eye on our social media accounts for the announcement. If you don’t have Twitter/Instagram/Facebook I encourage you to head over to the NationGear store and keep refreshing the page until the hats appear. Thank you. 

In my opinion, the only thing better than scoring NationGear is winning free NationGear. Understandably, some of you haven’t had a chance, or are unable, to buy NationGear at this point in your lives. I get that. That’s why we’re going to start doing monthly giveaways to hook you fine citizens up with free stuff. How do you enter to win? There are a few of ways. Send me (or tag us on Instagram) pictures of yourselves either A) wearing NationGear (past or present), B) doing something creative with the free stickers that we send out*, or C) by emailing me a creative OilersNation related photoshop/meme. 

From there we will take those pictures and toss them up on our Instagram account (giving you credit of course). At the end of the month we will select two random citizens to win some free stuff. Easy enough, right? I thought so too.
