Lightning/Oilers Sim — Live Stream: 7pm MST

4 years agoFor the third time in as many “gamedays” we want to give all Oilers fans (and really, hockey fans) something to sit back, and relax for a few hours to. Tonight at 7PM MT, the Nation would once again like to cordially invite you to come to this hub of Oilers fans and watch us simulate the Oilers/Lightning game that we wish more than anything would really be happening.

We don’t really know what we’re doing here other than just trying to be a beacon of fun and laughs for @Edmonton Oilers fans everywhere. If you have ideas/comments/thoughts on the game or something you want to see on the site, feel free to comment below and let us know. We had 2068 unique viewers for Wednesday’s stream of a game, and we hope you enjoy this break with us tonight too.

The Forwards:
@Jujhar Khaira draws out tonight as @Gaetan Haas comes in to the lineup for the first time real hockey was played.
Former fan favourite, @Patrick Maroon returns to Edmonton after lifting the cup last year with the @St Louis Blues
The Defence
In a weird twist, NHL20 moved @Kris Russell to the right side and @Matt Benning to left last game. Russell Had probably his best game this season, so we will see if the change back does anything.
As with the previous game, one of the players can’t be replaced so @Brayden Coburn will sub in for Luke Schenn.
The Netminders
As is mostly the case with Tipp this year, the @Edmonton Oilers will go back to @Mike Smith, instead of going to Mikko for a second and 2/3rds time in a row. The Oilers will be up against it as the Lightning go with ANDREI VASILEVSKIY
