Don Iveson’s NationBeer Bet
By baggedmilk
7 years agoAs he did in round one, Mayor Don Iveson is making hockey bets using beer as tender and this time around he’s really stepped up his suds game. This time he’s betting with NationBeer.
When the Oilers beat the Sharks in the first round, Don Iveson won himself a case of Gordon Biersch Chum after Mayor Sam Liccardo proved he doesn’t know much about picking winners. This time around, the Edmonton Don made another bet with Mayor Tom Tait from Anaheim and this time he’s using NationBeer as his betting chip.
Good luck, Mr. Mayor. We couldn’t be happier to help you out with your bid to shame every hockey mayor in California and we couldn’t be more proud of you selecting our beer to do your bidding.
Don’t know what the hell I’m talking about? I’m talkin’ NationBeer. Yes, we have our very own beer that’s brewed by Polar Park Brewing and is exclusively available at the Pint Downtown (cans), Denizen Hall (draught), and Crash Hotel (draught). It will be available in stores at some point, but for now, you’re going to have to be in downtown Edmonton to get your hands on some.
