The Edmonton Oilers are digi-Stanley Cup finals bound. For the first time since 2006, they will fight for Lord Stanley’s silver cup, this time against the Bruins of Boston. The Bruins swept the Washington Capitals in four straight in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Oilers finished off the Winnipeg Jets in five games of the Western Conference Finals. If you haven’t tuned in for any of the previous 50+ sims before, you have missed quite a bit. We simulated the entire rest of the regular season and then ran a simulation of the traditional playoffs set up that could have been based off points percentage for the teams. They were able to make it to the Western Conference finals in that one only to fall one game short battling back from 3-0 down to the @Dallas Stars in the series.
