However, consistent success in Vancouver has eluded the club. The Oilers have earned the win in just four of their last eight road dates with the Canucks, which marks a dramatic improvement after winning just five of their previous 22.
Overall, meetings between these teams in Vancouver have been low-scoring affairs. Total goals has not topped 6.0 in their past eight clashes at Rogers Arena, fueling a 5-0-3 run for the UNDER at sportsbooks.
That trend could be set to continue on Tuesday, with the Canucks pegged as +110 underdogs. Vancouver is coming off a 4-3 loss to the visiting Winnipeg Jets, which marked the team’s ninth defeat in 11 outings. Canucks shooters have averaged just 2.27 goals per game during that stretch, and have failed to pot more than three goals in a game during their current 1-2-2 run on home ice.
