The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our first bet of the day will be taking Tyler Seguin to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -134.
Seguin comes into the Stars’ matchup against the Arizona Coyotes having taken 19 shots on goal in his last five games leading all Dallas players in that category. He’s hit the over on this prop in three straight games, and has a great matchup against a ‘Yotes team giving up 35.57 shots against per hour in their last five games, the fifth-worst rate in the league over that time.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Connor McDavid to score 2+ goals. These odds sit at +400 and is a .5 unit play.
McDavid comes into this game against the Maple Leafs having scored 2+ goals in each of his last four games. I’m not one to bet against him doing hard-to-believe things, so let’s take a swing and see if he can make it five games in a row.
Only four players have had streaks of five games or more when they scored 2+ goals: Mario Lemieux (11 goals over five games between Oct. 15 – Oct. 25, 1988), Alexander Mogilny (13 goals over five games between Dec. 23, 1992 and Jan. 3, 1993), Joe Malone (16 goals over six games between Feb. 12 – Feb. 28, 1921) and Punch Broadbent (14 goals over six games between Jan. 14 – Feb. 1, 1922).
Record: 115-93 (+13.45u)
Last 30: 19-15 (+1.20u)
Last 7: 4-3 (+.21u)
Yesterday: 1-1 (-.3u)
