The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our bet of the day will be taking Wyatt Johnston to score 1+ point. These odds sit at +115.
Johnston has been having a coming out party in his rookie season in the NHL. He scored 24 goals and 41 points in 82 games in the regular season this year and has added another four goals and six points in 13 playoff games.
In three games in the regular season, he had one goal in three games against Vegas, but him and his linemates — Jamie Benn and Evgenii Dadonov — had lots of success. Benn scored a goal and three points in those games, while Dadonov only appeared in one game.
When Johnston and Benn were on the ice together at 5×5 against Vegas in the regular season, they controlled 54.29 percent of the shot attempts, 60.55 percent of the expected goal share and outscored Vegas 3-0.
