Oilersnation Betway Bets of the Day — Hammer this two-unit play on Evan Bouchard’s powerplay production

Our lone bet of the day will be taking Evan Bouchard to score 1+ powerplay point. These odds sit at -134 and will be a two-unit bet.

Finding value odds when betting on the Edmonton Oilers isn’t an easy thing these days. If you want to bet on Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl to score points, you’re not getting them at very appealing odds. In fact, you can’t even bet on McDavid to score a single point anymore and wagering on him to score 2+ has his odds at -276.

Despite that, I think I’ve found a gem of a line here when it comes to Bouchard scoring a powerplay point. The Oilers’ special teams unit has been operating at a tremendous clip finding the back of the net on a staggering 56 percent of their chances scoring 14 goals on 25 chances.

Bouchard, meanwhile, has found a way to contribute on 12 of those scoring three goals and nine assists. He has at least a powerplay point in every single Oilers playoff game this year. That’s a reason why we’re making this a two-unit play, as this powerplay that has gone 5/9 against Vegas, shows no signs of slowing down.

It’s also why we’re going to sprinkle a half unit on Bouchard to score 2+ powerplay points. These odds sit at +300.
