The Bets of the Day is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day.
Our first bet of the day will be taking Alex DeBrincat to take over 3.5 shots on goal. This line sits at -118.
DeBrincat has fit in tremendously with the Ottawa Senators so far this season scoring two goals and nine points in 10 games. He’s also leading the club in shots on goal firing 47 on net this season. He’s hit this prop in seven of 10 games this year and in four of his last five.
With a 4.7 shots on goal per game average and a matchup against a Philadelphia Flyers club that gives up 36.2 shots against per hour, the third worst rate in the leage, I love this spot tonight.

Our second bet of the day will taking Oliver Bjorkstrand to take over 2.5 shots on goal. This line sits at -143.
While a matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins may seem difficult, this is a spot I really like. Bjorkstrand leads all Kraken in shots on goal firing 45 on net in 12 games averaging 3.75 per game. He’s hit this prop in three of his last five games and in eight of ten this year.
The Penguins have been a leaky team defensively this year playing high event hockey. They’re allowing 35.09 shots against per hour, the fourth worst rate in the league.
Our third bet of the day will be taking Timo Meier as an anytime goal scorer. This line sits at +105.
This one’s a bit of a heat check, but a spot I really like for him. Historically, Meier’s scored 10 goals in 25 games against the Ducks, the second most against any team in the league. Meier comes into this game with four goals and eight points in 13 games, but is shooting just 6%.
Even with his shot rate rising this year, this numbers is nearly four percent below his league average. They’re bound to start going in at some point at a higher clip and going up against a Ducks team giving up 4.55 GA/60, the worst rate in the league, I like this spot.
Record: 27-17 (+9.53u)
