McDavid comes into Monday’s game against the Buffalo Sabres having taken 25 shots on goal in his last five games, the second most in the NHL over that time. He’s hit the over on this prop in three of those games and has a great matchup against the Buffalo Sabres, who have given up 38.8 shots against per hour in their last five games, the second worst rate in the league over that stretch.

Our second bet of the day will be taking o6.5 goals between the Winnipeg Jets and San Jose Sharks. These odds sit at +100.

Both of these teams have had some struggles defensively as of late. In the last five games, the Sharks have given up 5.11 goals against per hour, the second worst rate in the league, while the Jets have given up 4.92 goals against per hour, the third worst rate in the league over that stretch. That being said, both teams rank in the bottom half of the league in terms of goal-scoring in their last five games, but I like this spot tonight.
