While the Senators seem to have cleaned up their defensive game ever-so-slightly, they’re still a team who struggled to defend. On the year, they’ve allowed 33.56 shots per hour — the sixth worst rate in the league — and in their last five games, they’ve allowed 32.36 — the 13th worst rate of the league.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Mark Scheifele to take o2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -134.

Schiefele is third on the Jets in shots on goal firing 58 in 21 games this season averaging 2.76 per game. He hit this prop in 11/21 games on the year, and in four of his last five games.

The Jets have a great matchup against a beaten-up Columbus Blue Jackets team. On the year, they’ve given up 35.89 shots per hour on the year, the worst rate in the league, and 34.62 shots per hour in their last five games.
