Oilersnation Everyday: Back home to face the Avalanche

The Edmonton Oilers get back on home ice tonight as they welcome the Colorado Avalanche to Rogers Place. The Oilers are looking for a win after dropping their last two games on the road versus the St Louis Blues and Dallas Stars.

It was a tight contest the last time Edmonton and Colorado met. The game was tied 2-2 after 60 minutes but, unfortunately, the Oilers couldn’t grab the extra point. Artturi Lehkonen scored the overtime winner with 0.5 seconds remaining to secure maximum points for the road team.
