The Edmonton Oilers are heading into Game 4 down 2-1 after losing 4-3 on Sunday night. Stuart Skinner was pulled after allowing four goals on 11 shots in two periods. The burning question heading into tonight’s action was, does Kris Knoblauch turn to him again? The answer is no. Calvin Pickard gets the nod tonight in what will be his first career playoff start.
Pickard has been reliable for the Oilers all season. Since being called up from the Bakersfield Condors in place of Jack Campbell, Pickard had a 0.909 save percentage and a 2.45 goals against average in 23 games, along with a shutout.
Is this the right decision by head coach Knoblauch? Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will dive into today at noon live on Oilersnation Everyday only on the Oilersnation YouTube channel. Want your opinions on the show?  Tyler and Liam strongly encourage you to interact with the show, so leave your questions, comments and concerns in the Charm Diamond Centres YouTube live chat throughout the program. Also, Jay Downton joins the show for what will be a Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show edition of Oilersnation Everyday.
Later in the show, Oilersnation writer Cam Lewis joins Tyler and Liam for The Notebook. With Cam, they’ll discuss what happened in Game 3 and expectations heading into Game 4. Additionally, they’ll talk about other news from around the NHL, including Valderi Nichushkin and the Colorado Avalanche’s chances without him, the chaos in the Boston and Florida series, and if he thinks the Carolina Hurricanes can come back from 3-0 down versus the New York Rangers.

Viewers can catch Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilersnation Everyday on the Oilersnation YouTube Channel. You can also view the show on Twitter and Facebook. After the show has streamed live, you can find it on all your podcast providers.
