It’s another do-or-die situation for the Edmonton Oilers. They’ll go head-to-head with the Florida Panthers tonight at Rogers Place for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. Edmonton trailed 3-0 in the series; however, with wins in Game 4 and 5 they’ve dragged themselves back into the series.
It doesn’t look like head coach Kris Knoblauch will make any lineup changes. With that said, he mentioned that Evander Kane is a game time decision but it still feels unlikely he plays. On the Panthers side, Nick Cousins will be the lone lineup change with Kyle Okposo sitting out.
Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin go live for Oilersnation Everyday at noon ahead of tonight’s Stanley Cup action. Want your thoughts on the show? Leave your questions, comments and concerns in the Charm Diamond Centres YouTube live chat throughout the program. Tyler and Liam strongly encourage you to interact with them during the show.
Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff will join the show for his daily appearance presented by Horse Racing Alberta. With Frank, they’ll discuss the possible lineup changes for Game 6 and what the Oilers need to achieve to force Game 7. Additionally, they’ll take a look around the NHL and chat about some possible moves ahead of the NHL Draft next week.
Later in the program, Zach Laing and Cam Lewis join Tyler and Liam for The Notebook. They’ll discuss what was said at morning skate earlier today along with keys to victory for tonight.
