Oilersnation Everyday: Leon’s Night

Leon Draisaitl lead the way for the Edmonton Oilers last night versus the Pittsburgh Penguins in a 6-3 victory. The Oilers forward registered his first three-point night of the season in a game where they really needed him to step up. Edmonton also got great performances from Evander Kane, Evan Bouchard, and Jack Campbell, which will all be discussed on today’s show.
Another player that performed well, like he has all season long, was Brett Kulak. At five on five, Kulak has been a rock for the Oilers, and today he will get the credit he deserves.
Joining Oilersnation Everyday for the first time is Oilersnation senior writer Robin Brownlee. Brownlee reminded everyone today just how good Leon Draisaitl truly is. On top of that, he spoke about the play of Bouchard and Evander Kane last night. Then finally on, he touched on Connor McDavid’s improvement with the media and how he has evolved over time.
To wrap up the show, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin gave out their picks for tonight’s NHL action.
