The Edmonton Oilers did not play over the weekend for the first time all season. However, they did go into it with a big win on Friday night over the Minnesota Wild. The Oilers came away with a 5-2 victory over the Wild, which means they have now won five of their last seven games.
Tonight, Connor McDavid and the Oilers take on the Minnesota Wild for the third time in the last two weeks. Today’s game will be the final meeting of the regular season between the two teams, so it is the series decider Xcel Energy Center.
