Oilersnation Everyday: Oilers lose to the Sharks & Luke Gazdic joins the show

When you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the Edmonton Oilers, they lost 3-2 to the San Jose Sharks. With that loss, the Oilers move to 2-9-1 on the season and are now last in the NHL.

Is the season over? There’s a long way to go yet; however, if Edmonton doesn’t change how they’re playing on the ice, we may have to start talking about the draft sooner than we’d like. The team lacks urgency in many areas, and the star players haven’t shown up consistently enough. While the depth of this team is also lacking, it is never good when Darnell Nurse has more goals than Connor McDavid.
