The Oilers are out of the playoffs after falling to the Vegas Golden Knights in six games, which means we’ve got plenty to talk about on the Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio.
To kick off the podcast, we got started with a debate about the Oilers’ season and whether or not we think losing in the second round of the playoffs is a step back or not? Seeing as the team had plenty of expectations for their year, we debated about what just happened and where the Oilers go from here. That led us to talk about the current roster and who we think may be on the move as the organization will look to improve despite not having a whole lot of cap space to get the job done. Changing gears, we looked at the news that broke this past week after Frank Seravalli speculated that the Oilers could be making a swap in management that sees Ken Holland remain as POHO but Steve Staios slide in as General Manager. With the Oilers talk out of the way, we dove into the rest of the playoff picture and specifically if we’ll be watching what’s left or not. Unexpectedly, none of us on the podcast are too excited to watch someone else win. Lastly, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with another riveting edition of Word Association that Tyler literally seconds putting together.
