Oilersnation Radio: Connor McDavid gets his 100th assist and some love for Warren Foegele

Oilersnation Radio is your favourite twice-weekly podcast, and that makes today a great day because we’ve got a fresh episode of the show wrapped up and ready to get you through the week.

Kicking off the Tuesday podcast, we started the podcast with a delicious debate about whether or not we would play Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl over the last couple of games, given that there’s not a whole lot left to play for in the regular season. Seeing as the Oilers are unlikely to kick off their playoff run until Monday, would you want the Dynamic Duo on the shelf for that much time?

Changing gears, we looked at Warren Foegele’s time with the Oilers and whether or not this run will come to an end after he put up a hell of a season in his contract year. After putting up career bests in goals, assists, and points, is it realistic for Foegele to stick around Edmonton, or is it more likely that he chases the bag somewhere else? While Baggedmilk thinks Foegele is as good as gone, Rick thinks McLovin will be back with the Oilers when all is said and done.

Lastly, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with another round of Can You Clear That Up for Me before wrapping up the podcast with some score predictions ahead of tomorrow’s matchup with the Coyotes.
