Oilersnation Radio: Oilers defeat the Canucks in Game 7, move onto Dallas for WCF

The Edmonton Oilers punched their ticket to the Western Conference Final with a thrilling 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks, punching their ticket to Dallas with a clutch performance.

The guys started the podcast with a delicious debate about who we would name as our three  MVPs from the Oilers’ series against the Vancouver Canucks. We also discussed who were the unsung heroes in that series, and it was fun to hear everyone’s take on who stepped up and why. Given that there were plenty of players who rose to the challenge, the list was varied.

Changing gears, we looked ahead at the series against the Dallas Stars and what to expect from an opponent that so many of us despise from those playoff series back in the 90s and early 2000s. If you’re old enough to remember those series, this upcoming round against the Stars has decades worth of irritation that’s likely to come.
