It’s Friday afternoon, and that means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio to wrap up your week and celebrate all things Edmonton Oilers. This week’s podcast was a fun one, as the Oilers find themselves on a four-game win streak that has some of the fellas reconsidering their percentage chance that the team makes the playoffs.
Kicking off the Friday episode of ONR, we started with a look at last night’s win over the Winnipeg Jets and how it was another incredible comeback win for a team that’s starting to play like we all hoped they would. Despite Connor Hellebuyck doing his best to goalie the Oilers early on, the team never gave up on their game plan and were ultimately rewarded for it in the third period. Changing gears, we looked at the Oilers’ goaltending situation and whether or not the team should consider bringing Jack Campbell back now that he’s playing a little bit better. We also got into a spirited debate about the Ryan McLeod trade talk as some folks feel the team would be able to do better with that money than what they’re getting currently at the 3C position. Would they be better off to leave Soup in Bako and let him have more at-bats? Lastly, we closed out the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio with another round of Ask the Idiots, and Hot and Cold performers to wrap up the week.
