It’s a Friday afternoon, and that means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is here to help you break down all things Edmonton Oilers.
Kicking off the pod, we started with a conversation about last night’s loss, which ended the Oilers eight game win streak. Edmonton held a one-goal lead in the third period, but things slipped away after the Tampa Bay Lightning scored three quick goals. The final score was 7-4 and the blame was quickly put on Stuart Skinner. The gang discussed the criticism towards Skinner and whether it was justified or not. Changing gears, the delicious debate presented by Wendy’s Canada was up next. Liam asked the gang when Ken Holland needed to find help for Stuart Skinner. The results from the gang were mixed but seemed to find some common ground on the matter. Moving along, tomorrow, the Oilers get a chance to start a new win streak when they take on the Florida Panthers. We went around the horn, giving our takes on what to expect from a Panthers team that hasn’t scored a goal in two games.
