Kicking off the Tuesday podcast, we started the podcast with a very strange conversation about Liam’s fashion sense after he confessed that he doesn’t like wearing t-shirts. Coupled with a Nation Gear staff gift question, Liam’s wardrobe turned into a fantastic opening segment that no one saw coming.

Getting back to the actual podcast, we got going with a delicious debate about what is the greatest X-factor for the Oilers down the stretch. Whether it’s defencemen stepping up or players finding ways to score when it matters most, there are plenty of potential options to choose from. As you’ll hear, there were plenty of interesting choices that ranged across the board.

We also spent a few minutes talking about goaltending after the Oilers signed Olivier Rodrique to a one-year contract extension. The guys also discussed former friend, Mikko Koskinen, announcing his retirement upon the completion of the Swiss season. In hindsight, were we too hard on Mikko?
