Risky Business is brought to you by NHL Lines site Betway!
To me, the Chicago Blackhawks are a team that the Edmonton Oilers should beat more often than not. I don’t care if we’re talking about the second half of a back-to-back set or any other game day for that matter, Chicago is a team that’s teetering on a rebuild and I see that as an opportunity for points. Sure, we all know that winning games in the NHL is never easy, but I’ve been an Oilers fan long enough to remember when the Blackhawks used to beat us up for fun, and I would love nothing more than to watch the boys return the favour.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Blackhawks:

Player Prop:

Leon Draisaitl to go over 1.5 points at +100. My $5 bet would return $10.

Easy Money:

First period over 1.5 goals at -154. My $5 bet would return $8.25

Risky Business:

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both score 1+ goal. My $5 bet would return $20.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Boston over Detroit on the Moneyline, Florida over Philly on the Moneyline, and Toronto over San Jose on the Moneyline at 3.09. My $5 bet would return $15.75.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Last Game:

Last night’s game didn’t necessarily go my way in terms of everything I put down, but I ultimately got enough done to cover my bets.
  • Tyson Barrie to register a point at +110.
  • Over 1.5 total power play goals at +110.
  • Edmonton Oilers to win and Leon Draisaitl to score 2+ points at +200.
  • Tampa Bay over Anaheim on the Moneyline and Leon Draisaitl anytime point at 1.95. ✅
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Blackhawks.
