Risky Business: Fighting Shorthanded

After three days off, the Edmonton Oilers are back in action against Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins, which means we’ve got another round of bets to put down. How will we fare against a Penguins team that is currently on the outside looking in? We shall see. We be bettin’, fam!

LAST GAME

I’m not going to lie to you guys, I was pretty nervous about how the game against Vegas was going to go, but the Oilers came through with a huge win and that makes me hopeful for a repeat performance tonight against the Pens. But before we get to that, let’s check in on how I did against the Golden Knights.
Player Prop:
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins over 2.5 shots at +110
Easy Money:
First period over 1.5 total goals at -147 ✅
Risky Business:
Evan Bouchard to score at +450
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Dallas on ML, Florida on ML, and LA on ML for +227

TONIGHT…

Back in October, the Pittsburgh Penguins were playing shorthanded with some of their key pieces out with injury and they found a way to get through it, which is exactly what the Oilers are having to do right now with more than half of their regular defencemen on the shelf. What does that mean in terms of throwing down bets? Well, your boy is going to be a little bit more conservative with the shekels I’m putting down.
Player Prop:
Jesse Puljujarvi over 2.5 points at +110
Easy Money:
First period over 1.5 goals at -141
Risky Business:
Connor McDavid over 1.5 goals at +400
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Vegas on ML, NYR on ML, and Leon Draisaitl over 0.5 points at +205
And there you have it. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I threw one unit down on each bet btw — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at for tonight’s game.
