Risky Business: Capitalizing on a tired opponent
By baggedmilk
2 years agoAs much as I love adding a few dollars on the game to make things a little more interesting, it’s been taxing to bet on the Oilers over the last couple of months because of how inconsistent they can be from night to night. So when it comes to tonight’s matchup against the Washington Capitals, I’m thinking that a conservative approach will probably be the better one. Either way, we be bettin’, fam!
LAST GAME
I don’t know if a night can get any worse than having your favourite team lose to their provincial rivals while also losing all four bets you made on the game. Good times, good times.

TONIGHT…
Even though Washington played in Calgary last night, I think the move is still to go a little bit more conservative with my approach to better on this game. Rather than chasing the juice — we all know the juice is always delicious — I’ve decided to dial it back a little bit to see if this approach will work a little better.
Player Prop:
Leon Draisaitl over 2.5 shots at -154
Easy Money:
First period over 1.5 goals at -154
Risky Business:
Over 1.5 power play goals at +120
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Montreal over Vancouver on ML and Leon Draisaitl to get an assist at +294
And there you have it. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I threw one unit down on each bet btw — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at for tonight’s game.
