Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
For Edmonton Oilers fans everywhere, this is a big day. When you have the opportunity to knock your opponent out of the playoffs and move on to the next round, teams have to elevate to another level to make sure that the final nail goes in. If you look around the NHL, there are plenty of examples in other series where that last win hasn’t come so easy, and I hope the Oilers have learned a lesson or two while they’ve been getting ready for their chance to move on. In front of what is sure to be a wild Cryto.com Arena crowd, the Oilers will need to bring their best if they want to get this thing over with now. For my part, I’ll be doing what I can to manifest a win by betting on our heroes to rise to the occasion. Will it pay off with a series win and a few nickles for your boy? I say and bet yes.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Kings.

Player Prop:

Evan Bouchard over 2.5 shots at +100. My $5 bet would return $10.00.

Easy Money:

Oilers to register over 32.5 shots on goal at -118. My $5 bet would return $9.25.

Risky Business:

Leon Draisaitl to score a goal and an assist at +175. My $5 bet would return $13.75.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Oilers to win and over 5.5 total goals at +125. My $5 bet would return $11.25.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Last Game

What a night. That’s all I can say, not only because the Oilers pulled themselves within a single win of the second round but also because I won a bunch of money. I know these bets wouldn’t have to believe it, but the kid did alright with a few last minute wagers. *pssst it was the Puck Line
  • Evan Bouchard over 2.5 shots at -110.
  • Over 1.5 total power play goals at -125. ✅
  • Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +220.
  • Edmonton over LA on the money line and Carolina over New York on the money line at 2.38. ✅
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Kings.
