Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
I was lucky enough to be in Vegas on Saturday night, and I have to say that it was arguably one of the most fun road games I’ve ever attended. Not only were there plenty of blue and orange jerseys in the building but to have the Oilers respond the way they did was exactly what the doctor ordered. We cheered, we drank, we celebrated our wins. It was all fantastic. Getting back to business, the Oilers need to find a way to come up with another effort just like that one. As we saw, the Golden Knights really struggled to match up with Edmonton’s speed and top-end skill, and I’d love nothing more than another viewing of the same movie here in Game 3. If the Oilers can give us another A-game like two nights ago, then there is no reason why our boys should be grabbing the series lead in a few short hours from now. Dare to dream? I certainly am.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Golden Knights.

Player Prop:

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins over 2.5 shots at +130. My $5 bet would return $11.50.

Easy Money:

Over 1.5 total power play goals at -154. My $5 bet would return $8.25

Risky Business:

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +200. My $5 bet would return $15.00.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Edmonton to win and over 5.5 total goals at +115. My $5 bet would return $10.75.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Last Game

How good was Saturday? After a tough loss in Game 1, the boys bounced back in a big way a few nights later and evened up the series at one apiece with what was arguably their strongest game of the playoffs. More like that, please.
  • Connor McDavid over 3.5 shots at -167.
  • Oilers over 32.5 shots at -118. ✅
  • Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +220. ✅
  • Oilers to win and over 5.5 total goals at +150. ✅
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Golden Knights.
