The next week is a huge one for the Edmonton Oilers. With divisional games all over the calendar, including two against Vegas in only four days, the boys have a real opportunity to gain some ground on teams they’ve been chasing all season. That makes tonight’s game against the Golden Knights to be a massive one that the Oilers need to have. Down by six points in the standings, the Oilers could do themselves a major favour if they can find a way to pull out a third straight win over the Golden Knights and cut their points lead down by a third. Needless to say, this is a huge game and I’ll be doing my part to manifest what we all hope will be a massive Hockey Night in Canada victory.

If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Golden Knights.

Connor McDavid to score one+ goal and register one+ assist at +115. My $5 bet would return $10.75.

Over 63.5 total shots on goal at -125. My $5 bet would return $9.00.

Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman both to register 4+ shots on goal at +240. My $5 bet would return $17.00

Minnesota over Chicago on the money line and Dallas over Vancouver on the money line at 2.01. My $5 bet would return $9.90.

It may not have been the prettiest win you will ever see, but dammit, having Connor McDavid score his 60th goal as the OT winner was as perfect of an ending as I could have hoped for. Sure, you’d probably like the Oilers to run up the score against Arizona, but the reality is that team is playing some solid hockey right now and picking up a win against them is by no means a given.
