Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
After blowing out the Ducks on Wednesday night, the Oilers are back in action with another massive Pacific Division matchup against the San Jose Sharks, a team they absolutely have to beat. Even though we’re not technically in must-win territory, there’s no doubt that the Oilers need the points and this is another one of those nights when they have to make it happen. If the boys play the way they did against Anaheim, there’s no reason that they shouldn’t be able to get the job done against a team that has struggled mightily.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Sharks:

Player Prop:

Zach Hyman over 3.5 shots at +100. My $5 bet would return $10.00.

Easy Money:

Over 1.5 total power play goals at +100. My $5 bet would return $10.00.

Risky Business:

Leon Draisaitl to score and the Oilers to win at +187. My $5 bet would return $14.37.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Edmonton over San Jose on the money line, Pittsburgh over Winnipeg on the money line, and New Jersey over Anaheim on the money line at 3.32 My $5 bet would return $17.49.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Last Game

I know the Anaheim Ducks are horrible but that was a win the Oilers needed to have.
  • Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +250. ✅
  • Over 1.5 total power play goals at +100. ✅
  • Oilers to win every period at +650.
  • Edmonton over Anaheim on the money line, Toronto over Nashville on the money line, and Washington over Philly on the money line at 3.49.
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Sharks.
