Sharks Fan Dumps Popcorn on the Oilers

After Connor McDavid scored the empty net goal with under a second left in last night’s game, a San Jose Shark fan thought it would be a good idea to join in the celebration. 

With the game done and the Oilers moving on to face the Anaheim Ducks in round two, a San Jose Shark fan was left feeling a little bit salty. That saltiness caused him to dump what was left of his tear soaked popcorn over the glass and onto the heads of the Oilers below. As you can see in the video, Anton Slepyshev took the brunt of the delicious assault but it didn’t seem to bother him much as he kept smiling the whole time. I guess scoring a series winning goal is enough to let you forget about a buttery back.

Personally, I would have gotten down on the ground and started eaten the popcorn off the floor like a dog to show up the fan that was being a piss baby because the Sharks are making another first round exit. That said, the Oilers just won their first playoff series since 2006 and a little popcorn on the melon wasn’t going to ruin their buzz. What I want to know is why that person had so much popcorn left when the game was over. Were you originally planning to bring home old popcorn? I guess we’ll never know.

At the end of the day, popcorn dumper guy is a douche and I’m sure his parents are disappointed in how he turned out. That is all.
