If you’ve ever wanted to see the crew at Nation HQ ‘play the game’ then this is your opportunity. Next month, we’ll be heading out to Lake Louise to join in on the Annual Lake Louise Pond Hockey Classic and you’re all invited to join us.
Since there is nothing better than a good ol’ shinny tournament, we’ll be packing up our skates and heading out to Lake Louise to join in on this tourney. This will be the tournament’s 9th year, and we wanted to be a part of it. We wanted to show the world that not only are our takes scorching but that our Corsi can be pretty damned good too.
As such, we’re challenging you to enter a team and join us for a few days of fun on one of the world’s most beautiful ODRs. We want you to be one of the 24 teams to get in on this four-on-four tourney and put your best up against our best. Can your team beat the Nation HQ crew? I’m going to say no. Think you can prove me wrong? You’ll have to enter a team to prove it.

IT’S FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Need more reasons to get involved other than playing one of the most picturesque lakes on the planet? Fine. How about the fact that your entry fees will go to support a great cause. From the official site:
This year we are supporting Rotary/Flames House through the Calgary Flames Foundation. Rotary/Flames House is Alberta’s first free-standing hospice for children. In addition to walking alongside families in the final days of an end-of-life journey, Rotary/Flames House provides much needed respite care.
This temporary round-the-clock care for medically-complex children gives families the rest and renewal they need. Last year, more than 1,960 nights of care were provided at Rotary/Flames House along with 266 respite opportunities for families and kids who needed it. Families whose children have a life-limiting illness understand how important this care really is. A donation will be made on behalf of each team that registers for the mid-week tournament.
Needless to say, this will be one of the most productive shinny tournaments that you could ever take part in. Playing some puck for a good cause is the dream, and we want to bring as many of our friends as possible.
