The Connor’s Better Photoshop Contest

It’s been 37 games… Can you believe it? From the time that Connor McDavid went down on November 2nd, we’ve waited 37 McDavidless games for his return. Needless to say, it’s been tough. Fortunately, the wait is nearly over and we’re celebrating with a Photoshop contest.
Since I started working at OilersNation there has been two things that make me happiest: Photoshop contests and Connor McDavid. Today I am happy to announce that we’re going to combine both of my loves into one very special contest. This Photoshop contest is to celebrate the return of the precious after three months on the injured reserve.
Do I blame Chris the Intern and his injury reports for the recent run of injuries that we’ve had to endure? Yes I do, but that’s a story for another day. Today we’re firing up the Photoshop machines and working on masterpieces that show our appreciation for The One® and his impending return.
THE THEME…
A contest without a theme is like the Oilers without Connor McDavid, kinda sad and in need of upgrades. I picture photoshops coming in that show Connor McDavid with rocket leg upgrades. I’m picturing a collarbone so strong that our sweet Connor is able recreate the plot from Rookie of the Year and finally win the Cubs a World Series. The possibilities are endless!
The theme of this contest is “Connor’s Better.” Take that as you will.
THE RULES…
The rules for the contest are simple; you have to create an original Photoshop that fits within the theme of “Connor’s Better” – the rest is up to you. All I ask is that you try to make your pictures as creative and as ridiculous as possible. As you know Nation voters are sticklers for quality and if you’re going to win a prize you’re going to have to earn it.
The deadline to enter will be Monday, February 1st at 11:59pm. Anything that comes in past that deadline will be disqualified unless it is so face meltingly good that my bowels are evacuated from just one glimpse of its beauty. To submit your entry, you can email it to me at baggedmilk@oilersnation.com.

THE PRIZES
Since we can’t have a contest without prizes (Connor wouldn’t want it that way) I raided Wanye’s desk, the NationGear warehouse, and bothered sponsors until they were wiling to pay up. I want to thank Print Machine, Oodle Noodle, and the Pint for always stepping up, and for very rarely kicking me out.
The prizes:

Now go forth, fire up your Photoshop machine, and kill as much company time as you possibly can before the deadline. There is no limit to how many times you can enter this contest, so the more entries you submit the better chance you’ll have at sending a winner.
