After the Oilers won by a score of 5-2 in Edmonton on Friday, the Wild won their end of the home-and-home with a 2-1 win over the Oilers in Minnesota on Monday.
Zach Hyman scored a power-play goal in the first period but that was the only offence the Oilers were able to muster as the Wild held them to a season-low 21 shots on goal. Matt Boldy scored for the Wild on the man advantage to open the scoring and Frederick Gaudreau scored in the second with what wound up being the game-winner.
