After the Oilers won by a score of 5-2 in Edmonton on Friday, the Wild won their end of the home-and-home with a 2-1 win over the Oilers in Minnesota on Monday.
Zach Hyman scored a power-play goal in the first period but that was the only offence the Oilers were able to muster as the Wild held them to a season-low 21 shots on goal. Matt Boldy scored for the Wild on the man advantage to open the scoring and Frederick Gaudreau scored in the second with what wound up being the game-winner.
Below are the highlights from the game…

THE DAY AFTER IS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

The Wild opened the scoring in the first period just seconds after Tyson Barrie went to the penalty box for tripping. Kirill Kaprizov fired a puck into the crease and Matt Boldy deflected in past Stuart Skinner…
The Oilers tied the game a few minutes later while on a power play of their own. Zach Hyman buried a Tyson Barrie rebound for his first goal since all the way back on November 19 against the Vegas Golden Knights…
Minnesota got the lead back in the second period when Matt Boldy weaved his way through Edmonton’s zone and fed Frederick Gaudreau with a perfect backhand pass through the slot…

The Oilers pushed to tie the game with a 6-on-4 power play in the final minute of play but the Wild managed to close the door and earn the win…
