There’s good news and there’s bad news…

The good news is, the Oil won last night against the New York Rangers and former GM Glen Sather. We will never be one to question a win, especially when wins are few and far between like they are right now.

The bad news is that there is little you can take away from this game beyond the win. Outshot, outworked and letting in that crucial late goal once again to force overtime.

Good to see Hemsky get back to being productive; good to see Horcoff pot one; good to see Garon provide some solid goaltending.

Good to see a notch in the win column and two points in the bank.

It would be good to see a 60 minute effort, if that is somehow possible. Yes, bring that waiter—an order of 60 minute effort please.
