We’re going to Arizona for a #NationVacation and you’re all invited to join us

8 months agoIf there’s one thing I always love writing, it’s the announcement article for the next #NationVacation to watch hockey in parts unknown. And thanks to the fine folks at Alberta Blue Cross, we’re making our way to Arizona to watch the boys in a tiny barn, and you’re all invited to join us.
One of the funnier days at Nation HQ every summer is when the league releases the schedule for the upcoming season. Yeah, it’s always nice to know when we’ll see key matchups, but the actual search is to find the best weekends for a #NationVacation. And this year’s key find was a weekend in Arizona to watch our boys play a game in that tiny arena. I’m talking about joining a crew from the Nation and your closest Internet friends on an adventure to be among the 4600 max capacity crowd. Watching a big league game in an environment like that is an opportunity that’s just too good to pass up.
Not to mention, these trips are a blast. If you’ve never joined us for a #NationVacation before, heading to a new city to watch hockey with a group of the best people you’ll ever meet is an experience you’ll never forget. We’ve been to Vegas, Nashville, Toronto, and Seattle in a matter of days from now, and this time, we’re heading to Tempe, Arizona, for a hockey game like no other. I’m picturing our group of 50 dressed in blue and orange, blocking out an entire section of a rink built for the university teams. This past Sunday, we watched the outdoor game with 55,000+ fans packing the football stadium. On February 10-12th, 2024, let’s do something 1/10th that size.

Much like this month’s trip to Seattle that filled up in a flash, our first-ever #NationVacation to Arizona to watch the boys in a tiny arena is going to sell out quickly so you’ll want to get your spot locked in as soon as possible. Tell your family, tell your friends, tell the nearest stranger on the street that we’re heading to Seattle in November and you’re all invited to join us.
