We’re taking a road trip to Calgary and you’re all invited to join us

6 years agoFor as long as I’ve been working at Oilersnation, we’ve talked about loading up a bus full of Nation Citizens and hitting the road. After a couple months of planning and countless phone calls, we’ve partnered up with Backside Tours to put together a road trip to Calgary for the last BOA ever of the season and you’re all invited to join us.
Is there anything better than going to a live hockey game? No, of course not. Now, think about how awesome it will be to head into enemy territory with 50 of your fellow Nation Citizens to cause a ruckus and watch our boys in orange go for their eighth straight win over the heathens from Calgary. It’s going to be legendary and you’re going to want to be a part of it. I don’t care whether you have to bail on work, your in-laws, or ship the kids off to some kind of camp for the weekend, do what you need to do to make this happen.

One thing that we wanted to try to do with this trip was to try and make it as cheap as possible to create an opportunity for more of you to participate. Needless to say, taking a roadie with this many Nation fans is going to be an experience that you won’t soon forget. Since I know you don’t need me hassling you with reasons for why you need to come on this trip — you already know why you should come — let’s take a look at the details to figure out how you can make this work. This is going to be your last chance ever this year to boo Calgary before they get moved to Seattle the off-season rolls around.
Give me the details, guy:
- When? Leaving March 31st and returning April 1st, 2018. We’ll be leaving Edmonton at 11:30 am on Saturday morning.
- How much? The cost will depend on how many people are in your crew. To put it another way, we’ve got a range of options including single occupancy ($319/person) up to groups of four ($239/person).
- Why? Because we love to party
- Where do you buy tickets? Right here, friend. But be warned, this will sell out quickly and you procrastination will not be kind if you plan on coming.
What your ticket gets you:
- Ticket to the game (March 31st)
- Transportation to and from Calgary (starting in Edmonton, also stopping in Red Deer if needed)
- Accommodations at the Sandman City Centre Hotel
- Prizes, Giveaways & Entry to our Post Game Party at the Pint Calgary
One thing I will stress again is that this trip will sell out very quickly. We only have 50 spots to fill and once they’re gone, they’re gone. If you want to come then I would encourage you to act as quickly as possible or you will miss out.
