What the Oil needs now…

I was giving this some thought the other day and wouldn’t you know it: Lowetide beat me to the punch with this concise-yet-poignant post about what the Oilers need to be contenders next year. He says it best, so here it goes:
“The Edmonton Oilers need a shooter. A sniper. Someone who can shoot the damn puck from anywhere and be dangerous. […] We’ve talked about Jokinen and Blake and Cammalleri all season, but I think there’s another guy out there who might fit the bill and based on his team’s post-season may be available. Jonathan Cheechoo.”
If Lowetide’s right, and we need a dangerous shooter, who do you folks out in the Nation think the Oilers should be gunning for? Cheechoo, or someone else?
