Game two of the Young Stars kicks off Saturday with the Edmonton Oilers taking on the Calgary Flames tonight.
Puck drop goes at 8:30 pm MST. You can watch the game on Oilers+, or on the Calgary Flames YouTube channel.
The Oilers rookies are coming off a strong showing Friday night edging out the Winnipeg Jets’ rookies 3-1. Jake Sloan scored twice and Beau Akey got his first in an Oilers uniform. You can find out more about last night’s game from Brennan Delaney’s Wrap Up, and Bruce Curlock’s The Day After.
Calgary’s rookies, meanwhile, played their first game on Friday night, too, squaring off against the Vancouver Canucks falling 7-1. You can read more about their first game over at Flamesnation.
