The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our first bet of the day will be taking Sidney Crosby to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -150.
Crosby has been hot to this prop hitting it in four of his last five games taking 17 shots on goal over that stretch. He’s hit this prop in 25/50 games on the year, and is averaging 2.78 shots on goal per game this season. He has a great matchup against the Anaheim Ducks, who have given up a league-worst 38.12 shots against per hour in their last five games.

Our second bet of the day will be taking John Tavares to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -134.
Tavares has taken 25 shots on goal in his last five games hitting this prop in three of them. Averaging 3.58 shots on goal per game this season, he’s got a great matchup tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets, a team that’s giving up 36.62 shots against per hour in their last five games, the fourth-worst rate in the league.
