The NHL’s free agency period has opened up, and while the Edmonton Oilers weren’t too busy they managed to grab themselves a big piece to the puzzle.

On day one of free agency, Oilers general manager Ken Holland signed former Toronto Maple Leaf and Ottawa Senators forward Connor Brown for a very cheap cap hit. However, there are a couple of extra lays to his contract which Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will talk about in this episode of Oilersnation Everyday.
