Oilersnation Radio, your go-to twice-weekly podcast, is back with a brand new episode to spice up your week. Get ready for some riveting Oilers discussions and debates. This week, we discussed the Oilers’ Game 1 win, how annoying the LA Kings are, and looked around the early days of the NHL playoffs.

To kick off the Tuesday podcast, we had a delicious debate about what was the most impressive aspect of that Game 1 win. From the way they opened the scoring quickly to the way they ignored the Kings’ nonsense after the whistles, the Oilers were so much better than LA that the score almost didn’t do the game justice.

We also talked about the Kings’ being outmatched in terms of skill and how the only way they can compete is to try and steer the game into the ditch. Every chance they had, LA was sticking/punching/hacking Edmonton’s players to try and get them off their game, but the good news is that our boys navigated the challenge quite well.

Lastly, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with another round of Can You Clear That Up for Me before wrapping up the podcast with some score predictions ahead of tomorrow’s Game 2 against the Kings.
