The Edmonton Oilers got good news this morning finding out that forward Kailer Yamamoto will draw back into the lineup Monday night.
The Oilers are set to take on the Nashville Predators at 6 p.m. MST.
Yamamoto will slide back in on the DRY line alongside Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Leon Draisaitl. Injured on Feb. 23 when his ankle got caught underneath him, Yamamoto missed four games.
He’s been a star for the Oilers since his late December recall scoring nine goals and 21 points in 21 games this season.
The Oilers assigned Markus Granlund to the Bakersfield Condors Saturday to make room for Yamamoto’s return.
