Another Wednesday has shown up on the calendar, and that means another opportunity for your ol’ pal Baggedmilk to jump on the air with the boys at The Locker Room to talk about what’s going on in the NHL and the world of sports.
To kick off this week’s appearance, we jumped in with a look at Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and whether or not the Oilers should extend the former first overall pick a year from now when his contract is up. As expected from the residing President and CEO of the Ryan Nugent-Hopkins fan club, I gave my pitch for why it makes sense to keep him forever. Next up, we looked at the CFL doing their own version of hub cities as they look for solutions to be able to keep their season alive and despite not hearing about the plan until this morning, I think it’s important that the league do what it can to make sure it survives what has undoubtedly been a devastating year for professional sports. As always, it was another fun appearance and I’m thankful that the boys continue to have me on despite not having a whole lot to talk about when it comes to hockey.
