Edmonton Oilers forward Jesse Puljujarvi and his Finnish team will be heading into a COVID-19 quarantine.
According to Iltalehti hockey reporter Pekka Jalonen, someone in the Karpat Oulu organization tested positive for COVID-19. Jalonen added that three games will be forced to be rescheduled in the coming days.
Puljujarvi, 22, inked a two-year deal to return to the Edmonton Oilers last week and will play with Karpat until the NHL resumes. So far, he’s scored five goals and seven points in five games with Karpat.
