The Oilers are back on home ice and looking to inch closer to not only a playoff spot, but home-ice advantage in round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Tonight, they’ll be going up against a Dallas Stars team that is coming off a 6-2 loss at the hands of the Vancouver Canucks. The Oilers are playing some great hockey right now with a record of 8-1-1 in their last ten games while the Stars are just 5-3-2 in that span. The Oilers have also been nearly unbeatable on home ice over the last few months. Since March 1st, the team is 10-1-1 at Rogers Place and they’re averaging 4.5 goals for per game over that stretch. The Stars have been a good road team recently too though. They’re top ten in points percentage since the calendar flipped to March.
