Bakersfield Condors sign five to AHL deals

The Bakersfield Condors have made a number of moves Tuesday as they fill out their roster for the 2022-23 season.
Graham McPhee, 22, was drafted by the Oilers in the 5th round of the 2016 draft and joined the Condors full-time last year. Over 36 games, the left winger has scored five goals and 11 points. He’s the son of Vegas Golden Knights president of hockey operations George McPhee.
The club also signed four other players to one-year deals: C Matthew Boudens, C Drake Rymsha, C Mark Rassell, and C Samuel Dove-McFalls.
All five of the players were signed to one-year, two-way deals.
Boudens, 28, spent last season between the ECHL’s Fort Wayne Komets, where he was the captain, and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights. With the Komets, he appeared in seven games scoring five goals and six points, and with the Silver Knights, he appeared in 30 games scoring five assists.
Rymsha, 24, was drafted by the LA Kings in the 5th round of the 2017 draft. He split last year with the Komets and the AHL’s Hershey Bears. With the Komets, he sored 10 goals and 18 points in 11 games while with the Bears, he scored one goal and nine points in 49 games.
Rassell, 25, appeared in two games with the Komets last year scoring a goal and an assist. Previously, he played with the University of New Brunswick scoring six goals and 12 points.
Lastly, Dove-McFalls, 25, spent last year with the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins appearing in 11 games scoring a goal and four points. He also played alongside Rassell at the University of New Brunswick.
