Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Sam Gagner could be the most popular PTO of all time

Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.

To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with a look at the upcoming season and how the excitement for this year seems to be higher than ever before. Not only will the Oilers have a good team with a real chance at the Stanley Cup, but there’s also a feeling of unfinished business that adds another layer of intrigue. With only 42 days left until the season opener, the city is starting to get Oilers fever again and I cannot wait to get going. Speaking of can’t wait to get going, the Oilers announced that Sam Gagner would be coming back to Edmonton on a PTO and that has a lot of us feeling incredibly excited. Not only is Gagner a fan favourite, but I also think he could provide a layer of leadership in the room that can only help. Seeing as this guy basically bleeds blue and orange regardless of where he’s played, cheering Sam on as he works to turn his PTO into a contract is something that we’ll all be following as training camp rolls along. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s segment with another look at the #NationVacation to Seattle that’s coming up in November and how you’ll want to get your spot saved if you want to come because this thing is selling out.
