Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: We Are All Pissy

Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.

To kick off this week’s segment, we jumped in with a chat about the biggest news of the week, which is obviously why we’re all feeling so pissy these days. Honestly, I don’t know if I’ve seen anything unite the fanbase quite like what happened after Leon Draisaitl and Jim Matheson got into an awkward exchange after practice yesterday and the clip of Matty asking why the former MVP felt “so pissy” took off like a rocket. Even though I personally didn’t think Matheson’s original question was out of line — Leon didn’t give much of an answer by the way — I was a little surprised to see the hall of famer go in that direction. Could anything have been done to avoid the situation? Is there some kind of beef there that just came out? Either way, all I know for sure is that we had a bunch of fun with it and quickly released a t-shirt that is already tracking to be one of the best sellers we’ve ever had. From there, we looked ahead at tomorrow’s game against the Florida Panthers and I offered up a few takes on what needs to get done to make sure the six-game losing streak doesn’t get extended to seven.
